"Just grab a bag of books and go on sankirtan"

Dandavat Pranams Gurumaharaj

Because of Your association I have been fortuned to witness (to my capacity) what means surrender and love, and I pray that I one day can follow in your footsteps.

You never fail to see what is the actual need of the devotees. You are a father for the whole devotee community, bringing the Indian vaisnavas out on the internet, bringing spiritual life into practical life, engaging everyone in service, inspiring boldly both young and old devotees to preach. You don’t let anyone get away. There is no escape from the reality of Sri Chaitanyadevas mission; “Grab a bag of books and go on Sankirtan!”, "You have no right to be depressed, so much you got already. Be thankful for what you have received and give it to others.”, “Do the needful”, "To not speak about Krishna to someone that does not know about Krishna is to neglect your duty". These words from you have inspired me many times to “catch the moment”.

The anarthas run in fear when You speak. But what unlimited tolerance and love You show when hardly anyone follows your instructions. Instead of harsh words You love bomb us until we wave the white flag of surrender. You bomb us with responsibility and trust, giving us the greatest chance to grow individually. You create fields of service, platforms for seva to grow, always caring for everyone’s happiness. You take your time for anyone who wants to speak to you. Your door is always open.
You have taken a service unparalleled in the history of Vaisnavism, being always reachable to thousands of disciples with your blackberry and with the Sunday chats. To maintain all these relationship requires a love and care beyond human capacity.

Srila Prabhupada went to the US with a pair of kartalas, ready to serve his Gurus mission. In the same mood you went to Finland with only a pair of kartalas, fully dependent on Krishna. And see how Krishna embraced your surrender! You didn´t even have to play the kartalas once. You went to get the Bhagavad Gita printed and the first man you met gave up his job to follow you and finish the book.

Krishna descended after Mother Earths heartful prayers because of his love for Her and all those who live on Her, especially the devotees. You act as an instrument for His love and have taken the thankless task to tell us that we are being cheated by the food industry and that we must not anymore support this demoniac machine. Just like Srila Prabhupada you have always been a revolutionary and continues as the general of the spoonrevolution, your comment on the Bhagavatam. So much energy you have spent to spread this spoonrevolution. Why? Because you have so much love. So much enthusiasm you invest in all you meet. You want us to wake up to see things as they are. To be part of the solution. To be on the good side. In the light of the Bhagavatam you give solutions how to live life here on planet Earth today.

He who follows in your footsteps will find there an infinite ocean of utsahan, enthusiasm. He will find expanded fields of service and responsibility. He will find humility. He will find the holy name. He will find Sadhu Sanga. He will find happiness and love. But only if he give it to others.

Saranagata Bhaktebhya - Only to the surrendered bhaktas…
suddha-bhakti viddhayine - …You give Suddha-bhakti

“Gurudeva,
give to this servant just one drop of mercy. I am lower than a blade of grass. Give me all help. Give me strength. Let me be as you are, without desires or aspirations.”
-Bhaktivinod Thakur

I pray that your instructions will always sound within me. Please Gurudev, let me to be an instrument of your love. I pray for causeless mercy so that my presence in this world can have some tangible result for your mission.

My most humble obeisances again and again to your lotus feet.
